Baby Bunting

Last week, one of my good friends had a baby girl. A scrummy, yummy baby girl to kiss and snuggle.

This is a very special baby...it's her 8th child. Yes, you heard right!

So something special was in order to celebrate her arrival, and a chance for me to indulge in making some pretty feminine decorations. They aren't of any huge use, except to hang around and look sweet.

I had to experiment a bit to get the shape of the hearts right. They change shape dramatically when they are stuffed, and what looks good flat, doesn't always look good in 3D.

The addition of a few buttons, and a bit of ribbon really sets them off.

I hope her mum likes them, and that she will too, when she's old enough to know what they are...
